Ablaze Africa: Guardians of the Flame
Ministry Report from Accra, Ghana

From packed altar calls at the Ablaze Conference to powerful Pentecost services in Accra, here is a report of what God is doing in Ghana, Africa.
Dear Friends and Partners,
Grace and peace to you in the wonderful name of Jesus.
As I write this update, we have just completed a powerful weekend of ministry in Europe and are preparing for another strategic assignment in Estonia, where we will be conducting multiple television broadcasts and miracle services that will reach viewers across the Baltic nations, Russia, Ukraine, and beyond.
Before arriving here, we had the incredible privilege of ministering in Accra, Ghana, at one of the most impactful leadership gatherings on the African continent – the Ablaze Conference.
What God did during this week was extraordinary.
Over 1,200 pastors and leaders gathered from across Africa hungry for revival, fresh fire, and a greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
The altars were filled.
The presence of God was tangible.
And revival fire burned throughout every gathering.

A Word of Encouragement
Guardian of the Flame
One of the messages I preached during Pentecost weekend was titled:
“Guardian of the Flame.”
Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly commands His people not merely to experience His fire but to steward it.
The priests in the Old Testament were instructed:
“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” – Leviticus 6:13 NKJV
The greatest danger to revival is not opposition. It is neglect. Fire dies when it is ignored. Faith weakens when it is not exercised. Passion fades when it is not protected.
The men and women who change nations are rarely those who merely experience God’s presence. They are the ones who learn how to carry it.
Pentecost was never intended to be a historical event. It was meant to become a lifestyle.
God is still looking for guardians of the flame – people who will protect the fire of prayer, preserve the fire of worship, cultivate the fire of holiness, and spread the fire of revival.
Perhaps today God is asking each of us: What fire has He entrusted to us?
And more importantly: Are we protecting it?
The flame is alive. Carry the fire. Protect the fire. Become a guardian of the flame.
Ablaze Conference – Revival Fire Across Africa

This year marked my second opportunity to serve as one of the keynote speakers at the Ablaze Conference in Accra, Ghana. What a tremendous honor. More than 1,200 pastors and leaders from across Africa gathered together to be trained, equipped, refreshed, and empowered in the presence of God.
Â
The atmosphere throughout the conference was marked by:
- Hunger
- Unity
- Expectation
- Revival fire
- The tangible glory of God

One of my primary messages focused on:
Being a Glory Carrier
I reminded leaders that true leadership is not built upon titles, platforms, or positions. Leadership is built upon presence. Leaders carry what they encounter. Transformation precedes influence. Glory changes the leader before it changes the ministry. People follow spiritual weight, not titles. Encounter produces authority. Presence is leadership currency. Atmosphere shifts before outcomes.

The response was overwhelming. At nearly every session, pastors and leaders flooded the altars, surrendering afresh to God and responding to His call. It was one of the most encouraging sights I have witnessed in recent years.
Africa is hungry. And God is responding.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” – Isaiah 60:1 NKJV

Honoring Faithful Servants
One of the greatest privileges of this assignment was serving alongside our dear friends, Pastor Richard Whitcomb and Donna Whitcomb. For more than four decades they have faithfully served Africa as missionaries, pastors, leaders, and Kingdom builders. Their ministry, Agape New Testament Church, continues to impact pastors, churches, leaders, and communities throughout Ghana and beyond. Faithfulness over time produces lasting fruit. Their lives stand as living proof of that principle. Every time I visit Ghana, I leave encouraged by what God is doing through their lives and ministry.
“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” – 1 Corinthians 4:2 NKJV

Pentecost Weekend at Agape New Testament Church
Following the conference, I remained in Accra to minister throughout Pentecost weekend at Agape New Testament Church. What an incredible conclusion to an already powerful week. I had the privilege of ministering in all four services, including preaching three times on Pentecost Sunday. The atmosphere was electric with faith and expectation. People came forward in large numbers to surrender their lives to Christ. Many were touched by the Holy Spirit. Leaders were refreshed. Believers were ignited. And revival fire burned brightly. As the church beautifully declared: Filled. Refreshed. Ignited.

“And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.” – Acts 2:3 NKJV
The flame is alive. And Africa is carrying it.

This past weekend we ministered at Nehemia Ministries and experienced another powerful move of God.
This week we travel to Estonia where we will be conducting multiple television broadcasts and miracle services that will air throughout:
- Estonia
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Ukraine
- Russia
- Other surrounding regions
Several of these broadcasts will include miracle services that will be televised to millions of homes.
This assignment is part of our current ministry tour through:
- Thailand
- Ghana
- Belgium
- Finland
- The Netherlands
- Estonia
We stand amazed at the faithfulness of God.
